I’m an undergraduate student at Duke University majoring in computer science and visual media studies.

Through experimentation with a variety of mediums, such as metalwork, ceramics, digital media, and recycled materials, I find ways to reimagine our interactions with everyday objects. From sculptural forms to wearable pieces, I see art and design as a means to explore my relationship to the world around me. I am drawn to aesthetics that question conventionality, addressing themes such as technology, the environment, and humanity.

RIPPL | STUDENT MARKETING

Rippl is a full-stack platform connecting local businesses with student ambassadors, enabling streamlined marketing campaigns and student-led micro-influencing. As co-founder and design lead, I led all visual and UX design efforts—creating a cohesive brand identity, logo, and interactive mockups using Figma and Adobe Illustrator—while developing scalable digital design systems that enhanced user engagement and fueled platform growth.

RIPPL | STUDENT MARKETING

THE PROBLEM

As students at Duke University, my co-founder and I noticed how much local Durham business rely on Duke Students to maintain consistent revenue. While social media marketing brings traffic to national brands and businesses in large cities, local businesses need marketing that is specific to their demographic. As students ourselves, we also noticed how eager college students are for free rewards and discounts.

THE PROBLEM

OUR SOLUTION

Rippl functions as a modern barter system between university students and local businesses. Through the app, businesses offer discounts and free products to students in exchange for simple social media promotion. With this two-sided marketplace model, both parties get what they want: on-campus marketing and endless student benefits.
